Dave Cour, Senior Scientist


Dave Cour is a consulting scientist with over 11 years of experience. His field of practice includes stream assessment, fluvial geomorphology, hydrology, water quality permitting, site restoration, and geographic information systems analyses. Mr. Cour received his Master of Environmental Management degree in Resource Ecology from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences. Mr. Cour’s technical interests include the ecological restoration of streams and wetlands. He has conducted morphological stream surveys and wetland investigations for a range of prospective and existing clients, including corporate, not-for-profit and governmental clients.

Mr. Cour’s work has supported various water quality permit applications including conducting alternatives analysis and socio-economic analysis in accordance with state and federal antidegradation policy, development of mitigation plans, and overseeing mitigation implementation. His experience includes negotiating state and Corps water quality permit parameters for various projects.
