Tennessee National Golf Course and Marina

As part of the development of a residential golf course community, BDY conducted a survey of 1,200-acre property to identify jurisdictional aquatic resources such as wetlands and streams and to determine the presence or absence of rare, threatened, or endangered (RTE) species. BDY prepared permit applications for proposed impacts, assisted in the design of wetland mitigation areas, and obtained necessary permits from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). As part of the wetland mitigation requirements, BDY performs annual surveys to assess wetland development and submits annual reports to TDEC and USACE.

In a subsequent phase of project, BDY prepared and obtained permits for the construction of a marina facility along the Tennessee River from TDEC, USACE, and TVA.
