BDY staff served as environmental inspectors for the installation of a 31-mile natural gas pipeline. BDY provided field identification and marking of streams, wetlands, and spring locations and supervised construction activities across jurisdictional features. BDY was also responsible for documenting soil stabilization along the right-of-way, photo-documenting site conditions, and conducting surface water and groundwater sampling of various wells, springs, and streams. In the three years following construction, BDY assessed the success of wetland restoration areas for annual monitoring reports and performed stream flow measurements and spring sampling.
